Paperful (2023)
Linoleum print over digital collaged image
A commentary piece on the modern paperless lifestyle.
As a passionate collector of homemade, event-specific, and location-based paper products, and an avid sketcher, I treat my collections as anchors of memory. In an era where everything is converting to digital data, I find myself both lost and anxious. Without tactile artifacts, the trails of my life don’t feel tangible—they lack the weight and presence of something that has truly lived.
To bridge this gap, I scanned my analog sketches and integrated them into digital collages, completing each piece with a hand-printed linoleum block. Each artwork was displayed alongside the related paper products from the event or place depicted. Through this project, I presented my statement on preserving tangible memory in a paperless world.
